My students are very excited to use their new lab materials. This year students will use the materials in the Advanced Biology class. We have not reach the part in the curriculum yet to use the equipment, but students are super excited to complete PCR labs. Students have taken it upon themselves to reach labs that we can work through with the equipment. They have researched CRISPR and I have found a lab kit that they will be able to use the material and complete a lab using CRISPR. They are very excited and are trying to work through the class material to get to where we need to be to use the equipment. \r\nAfter piloting introducing the new labs and equipment, I look forward to using the equipment in other levels of my biology classes. Students have made comments like they are so excited to learn how to use high tech lab materials and feel like they are in a professional lab setup. The excitement is very uplifting as their teacher. On a personal note I am so excited to see the kids learn and make real life connections to to the science they are learning in class.","fullyFundedDate":1759264382712,"projectUrl":"project/dna-and-biotechnology-at-fmrhs/9446508/","projectTitle":"DNA and Biotechnology at FMRHS","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Powell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3178772"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_80439","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":479,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":39,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":95,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"11.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":80439,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Fall Mountain Regional High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Fall Mountain Regional High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-hampshire/school-administrative-unit-60/fall-mountain-regional-high-school/80439"}
