Your funding gave them the opportunity to put into practice what they learned about WWII. Students worked in small groups and practiced communication and problem-solving skills as well as having the opportunity to learn by doing.\r\n\r\nTo take this project one step further, I had them record reconnaissance videos of the terrain they created and then evaluate the results in terms of how well they were able to hide and cover up troop movements and display their knowledge of WWII strategies.
