We could see their faces light up and enjoy the material they were working with. We will continue to introduce more of the toys with them, in the hopes it will build their knowledge. Once that is established, the power in communication is also established! \r\n\r\nThe \"Pop the Pig\" cause/effect game was particularly successful with our early learners. They had a great time interacting with all of it. We targeted words and phrases such as 'put in,' 'push,' and 'touch' in order to build understanding of action words. The students also enjoyed interacting with the animal sound puzzles. At the start of the new year I am planning to keep one bin \"available\" and use it for requesting while the others will stay in the closet/shelf storage space! \r\nThank you all again for your generosity.
