The magnatiles are a popular fidget choice, the art supplies help students express themselves, the snacks and new seating options provide comfort, and the books give opportunity for students to see themselves in literature. My students were so excited to see all of the new items in the counseling office! Some even said how \"cool\" my office looks now, and I agree it definitely looks more inviting and creates a safe place for all who visit. As next steps, I hope to expand my library so I can provide more diverse literature to students at school and plan on posting artwork designed by students in session on my walls. The goal is to continue evolving so that students feel comfortable and at home in my office and in counseling.
