My asynchronous or independent study component involved reading supporting documentation and reflecting on the specific areas of practice with the Breathe for Change methodology and structure to create SEL lesson plans and yoga classes.\r\n\r\nI found myself inspired by tools to bring a compassionate, body and mind centered method for creating inclusive, safe classrooms where students and teachers can engage in more movement, reflection, and planned brain breaks during the school day. I was able to start implementing yoga instruction and pilot brief workshops in one classroom during the program. By the end of the training, I created proposals (and got them approved by my school's principal) to offer Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports within the classrooms, along with a weekly staff wellness component starting in the fall of the next academic year.\r\n\r\nIn conclusion, I want to thank you so much for the bold financial support for me and this program in these challenging times. I am grateful to have received this tremendous support so that I can utilize these invaluable skills from Breathe for Change within my community school in Massachusetts.","fullyFundedDate":1735657819538,"projectUrl":"project/lets-spark-students-self-regulation-su/8956556/","projectTitle":"Let's Spark Students' Self Regulation Superpowers with Yoga and Mindfulness!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Grace","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8898197_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x252,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732157775038","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8898197"},{"teacherId":9848098,"projectId":8967802,"letterContent":"The third graders of Erving Elementary School are grateful for your generosity and support.
