The bean bags invite students to sit, relax, and enjoy a good book, even before the first bell rings. The moment the students walk into the room, their eyes light up when they see the bean bags and the shelves full of exciting stories waiting to be discovered. What was once just a quiet space is now filled with joy and imagination.\r\nMy students are not only more excited to read — they are choosing to read on their own! We have seen a big increase in the number of reading minutes tracked in Beanstack, our online reading log. In fact, thanks to our cozy reading corner and the fun new books, my class made it into the Top Five Classes for reading minutes during the weeks of September 29 and October 13!
