This Beaver Bot has been a huge hit in the classroom for the students' Gadget Design project! Although it is marketed towards younger children, the Beaver Bot is useful to anyone looking to cleanly cut cardboard with less strain on the body. It is very intuitive to use - students of all ages are able to turn it on and begin working with it! It is able to cut very tight organic shapes which is challenging and dangerous with box cutting knives and using scissors breaks the scissors and causes strain on the hand. Whether it's through troubleshooting, coding projects, or Science Olympiad activities, students are more engaged because they can see real-world applications of what they're learning. \r\n\r\nThere are definitely a few students who have particularly embraced the 3D printer. For example, one student who was not thrilled about their engineering class has enjoyed making projects for personal use. Another student, who is passionate about building models, has been using the printer to make different sized fan blades to see how it effects the power of a fan.
