By not having to share, it created a less chaotic scene behind stage. Performers did not have to argue about who's microphone was whose. It made the performance go smoothly. There was no need for extra delays as students transitioned microphones. Lastly, our audience also appreciated that they could hear our performers without having to strain. \r\n\r\nAs we rehearsed more and more with the microphones, the performers were able to build confidence and enhance the performance. They didn't have to worry so much about being head and they could focus on the performance. Students were equally impressed with the quality of the microphones. As we are building our program from scratch, we didn't have the best quality with our first set of microphones. To quote on of our Eighth Grade Performers who have been with the program before we even had any microphones, stated \"We are so grateful to have these microphones. We have come a long way since we started. I was so thankful that the hard work we all put into this was able to be clearly understood by the audience. I cannot say how appreciative I am for having been able to use these new microphones.\"\r\n\r\nLastly, this donation will have a lasting impact as we will continue to use these microphones for future productions.","fullyFundedDate":1765642033622,"projectUrl":"project/wireless-microphones-for-theater-perform/9893869/","projectTitle":"Wireless Microphones for Theater Performances","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Park","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9078513_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1687220614607","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9078513"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_94263","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":695,"numTeachers":59,"percentFrplEligible":93,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":60,"percentWhite":17,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":14,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"11.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":62.9,"schoolId":94263,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Elko Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Elko Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/virginia/henrico-county-public-schools/elko-middle-school/94263"}
