As we opened the boxes, many students asked if we could get fertilized eggs right away and start the project immediately. Although we are preparing for summer break and will begin the hatching process in the spring, their excitement showed how engaged and invested they already are in this learning experience.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for our classroom will be preparing for the arrival of fertilized eggs and creating observation journals for students to document each stage of the process.
