It's important for students to feel represented and valued. Tempera cakes have been such a life saver in my classroom because I don't have to squeeze out any paints and throw out a bunch of unused paints at the end of the day. These tempera cakes save time and conserve supplies because you only need to use a little bit of water to activate the paint and you don't have to worry about wasting paint.
