The non perishable food will help feed our students' families, especially now with the federal government shut down.\r\nBecause it is the CARE Closet, we like to try to get it anonymous who uses it but I know the counselors often bring families in to gather materials that they may need. Your generosity gives my students the meaningful choice to explore biology in a way that is compassionate and hands-on, without relying solely on real frog dissections. By using the Kind Frog, students can still gain a deep understanding of anatomy and the complexity of living systems, while also avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals like formaldehyde. \r\n\r\nSome of my students prefer not to dissect real frog, either because don't want to take a frog's life or because they are unable to dissect living organism. The timing couldn't have been better—they arrived on the very day of our school's Family Night/Open House event. We were excited to set up a pickleball station for families to enjoy, and it was a big hit! Looking ahead, we plan to make pickleball available to students during lunchtime and at various school events.\r\n\r\nWe plan to set the equipment up during lunchtime and at other school events so students can get in on the pickleball action. And since we received two sets (you really netted us a win there), one will be set up for our PE class. It's a big hit with the kids already, and we know they'll rally around this new activity. I have already set up the decimal meter clock in my classrooms and had curious students ask me, \"why is your clock acting so strangely? what is it doing?\" and then excitedly test the decibel meter with different sounds like yelling and clapping. The digital clock is an extra bonus as I only have analog clocks in my classroom.\r\nPairing this up with the speaker has been amazing. The kids were super excited to have music playing during lunch time. The students constantly want to play their music but are okay with our playlist as it is something. Occasionally I will bring the decibel meter out to quantitively show students that the music is \"too loud\". Furthermore, we plan to use the speaker during Raptor Athletics. Our mascot is the raptor and we have an after school opportunity for students to play different sports activities. This is in place of intramural sports. \r\nThe speaker enabled our school to play music which has helped boost moral and create a positive school culture.
