The ability to stay calm when presented with new and/or difficult tasks can be daunting for many new interns entering the program. It is scary getting ready to live our adult lives after high school. It was extremely important to me to provide our interns with a sensory room and self-regulation tools so that they can remain calm and confident, even when trying new things! This year, the interns are cooking, cleaning, and working jobs at our school AND in the community. We are so excited to provide this opportunity to them.
