These materials have allowed me to deliver more personalized and engaging instruction, whether in individual sessions, small groups, or push-in services across our specialized classrooms. My students, many of whom face significant challenges due to autism, learning disabilities, and emotional regulation needs, are now more motivated and better equipped to express themselves, connect with peers, and participate meaningfully in their learning environments.\r\n\r\nWith these tools, I've seen growth not only in communication skills but also in confidence and social-emotional development. Culturally responsive materials have helped my Black and Hispanic learners see themselves reflected in the content, encouraging stronger engagement and connection. Your contribution has truly empowered my students—most of whom come from low-income households and cannot be served in their home districts due to needs—to find their voices and feel seen, heard, and valued. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of their journey.","fullyFundedDate":1739369082901,"projectUrl":"project/voices-for-all-speech-language-tools/9097984/","projectTitle":"Voices for All: Speech & Language Tools for Diverse Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Budney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9457618_orig.jpg?crop=1868,1868,x401,y401&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1707086558540","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9457618"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_102044","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":78,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":73,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":83.3,"schoolId":102044,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about ECHO Communication Development Program @ Wentworth on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"ECHO Communication Development Program @ Wentworth","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/community-high-school-district-155/echo-communication-development-program-wentworth/102044"}
