With these products, I was able to add a listening center to our center rotation. Listening as a whole class has a different feeling than listening in a small group. With the headphones and Ipad holder, I was able to move them to a quieter area where they were able to take their time to listen and fill out worksheets that guided them.\r\n\r\nWhile being able to use these products as a center is exciting, having an Ipad holder also means that we can record our in class performances and watch them back immediately through screen share. Being able to watch your own performance allows you to critique and celebrate something that just happened, not the next day. \r\n\r\nOut of the students that have used the Ipad holders and the headphones, I think the 3rd graders were the most excited. 3rd grade is hard in music, there's a lot of new things that didn't happen in 2nd grade. Being able to hear a song and be able to write about it on your own instead of a whole class was a big deal. Students didn't feel rushed to get done because others were. We do lots of craft projects during the school year in kindergarten and it makes it so much easier to get construction paper when it is organized. It makes prepping projects so much faster. They are all organized by color so, I can easily see what I need and where it is. Also, the containers are very sturdy and will last me a long time. Definitely no warping or falling apart since they are made of wood.
