While some items changed, the purposefulness has not. Our light tables and sensory transparent manipulatives are now a weekly \"Night Light Lesson\" which the students love! They happily rotate from each table taking turns and sharing which is part of our socio-emotional goals. We learn by searching for numbers and letters, forming patterns, identifying colors and shapes. We also have Friday afternoon \"Math Karaoke Lesson\" which includes musical instruments. We watch and sing-along to Pre-k math videos. Our classroom is filled with song, sound, dancing and laughter! Students also share, take turns and use good manners the microphones and instruments. We also use our sensory ribbons and scarves during our circle time to sing and say our letters and numbers. There is so much learning, communication, sharing and laughter in my class. It is such a blessing to be able to give my Pre-K babies such a varied selection and lesson targeted toys and activities! The best part that we are able to do one-to-one, small group and large group rotation centers which give my students so many opportunities to learn socio-emotional skills such as taking turns, sharing, using good manners and celebrating each others victories. They are so excited and intrigued that having a friend take a turn still keeps them engaged. Although this was a STEM centered wish list, we also do ELAR including alphabet recognition and identification during our activities. \r\n\r\nOur marble run with flashing marbles with lights off was a hit!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generous hearts and support!
