The students were excited to see new, colorful materials they could hold, move, and interact with, and having them laminated allows students to participate hands-on without worrying about the materials becoming damaged. As we continue through the school year, we will use these supplies to create new materials that support our changing themes and communication goals, giving students more opportunities to practice requesting, commenting, answering questions, learning new vocabulary, and expressing their ideas.
