The girls worked as a team to open the boxes, gather the various items and put the kits together. \r\n \r\nThey felt a sense of accomplishment as they came together to make a difference in the lives of the women impacted by the LA Fires. The students learned the importance of community and lending a helping hand to those in need. They even got creative by drawing on the paper bags and writing positive messages. \r\n\r\nThe kits will be delivered to a local shelter which will distribute the kits to the women impacted by the LA Fires. Our group of girls will continue to support various organizations throughout the year, but I know that they will remember this, their first-ever project, fondly.
