Thanks to your kindness, my students were able to start exploring new hobbies.\r\n\r\nOur students received various items to encourage them to try different hobbies, including the following: rocks for rock painting, a new printer to print high quality stickers, keychains to personalize using the Cricut machine, a craft bin to store crafts and snacks for students to enjoy during their breaks.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited to explore new hobbies which we started during the month of September. The girls worked as a team to open the boxes, gather the various items and put the kits together. \r\n \r\nThey felt a sense of accomplishment as they came together to make a difference in the lives of the women impacted by the LA Fires. The students learned the importance of community and lending a helping hand to those in need. They even got creative by drawing on the paper bags and writing positive messages. \r\n\r\nThe kits will be delivered to a local shelter which will distribute the kits to the women impacted by the LA Fires. Our group of girls will continue to support various organizations throughout the year, but I know that they will remember this, their first-ever project, fondly.
