Having access to these snacks has helped students remain engaged during lessons, participate more actively, and regulate their emotions and behavior when hunger might otherwise interfere with learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the snacks arrived, my students were genuinely excited and grateful. Many students expressed relief knowing that food would be available when they needed it, and several shared how much it helped them feel cared for and supported. The availability of a variety of snacks—including options for different dietary needs—has helped ensure that all students feel included and valued.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students can now focus on their academic goals rather than hunger. Moving forward, these snacks will continue to support students during instruction, testing, and independent work time, allowing them to build confidence, stamina, and success in the classroom. Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in both their learning and well-being, and we are incredibly thankful.","fullyFundedDate":1746125431900,"projectUrl":"project/the-way-to-their-hearts-is-a-good-snack/9135731/","projectTitle":"The way to their hearts is a good snack!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kitchens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9773962"},{"teacherId":9773962,"projectId":8814028,"letterContent":"These materials have made an immediate and positive impact on my students. Students are more focused, calm, and engaged throughout the school day because they now have access to sensory tools and noise-reducing supports that help them self-regulate and manage anxiety. Organizational supplies such as notebooks and folders allow students to keep their work in one place, increasing responsibility and confidence in their ability to stay organized.\r\n\r\nHeadphones and earmuffs have been especially impactful for students with sensory sensitivities, allowing them to work in a quieter, more comfortable environment. The addition of calming classroom décor has helped create a welcoming space where students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
