The Google Cardboard VR headsets have allowed students to explore virtual chemistry labs, molecular structures, and scientific simulations in a way that makes abstract concepts more concrete and exciting. The Periodic Table flashcards provide an interactive, game-based approach to learning elements, helping students strengthen recall and deepen their understanding of trends through collaborative practice.\r\n\r\nThe addition of Pyrex beakers has supported more accurate and frequent lab investigations, giving every group reliable equipment for experiments and allowing students to collect precise data during hands-on activities. The farm animal figurines may seem simple, but will be surprisingly powerful in modeling data analysis for one of our upcoming units . Finally, the digital calipers have given students practice in using authentic scientific tools, improving their ability to take precise measurements and reinforcing the importance of accuracy in experimental work.\r\n\r\nOverall, this project has enhanced student engagement, improved access to quality lab tools, and fostered a more interactive and inquiry-based learning environment where students are excited to explore chemistry. Watching their eyes light up as they discovered new phenomena was truly priceless, it sparked great questions and a lot of enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the students were so excited, they couldn't believe that someone they'd never met cared enough to support their learning. It made them feel seen and valued, and it energized our classroom community. Now, with these resources in hand, we just completed a student-led project and their real-world applications, including things like environmental impact, and even space exploration.\r\n\r\nWe're currently working on collaborative lab reports and presentations, encouraging students to think critically and communicate their findings clearly.
