The cushions are helping our students sit comfortably while they pay attention during carpet time. They also help us when we do our ELD groups because we split both second grade classes into 3 groups and one of the groups used to sit in a corner where there is no carpet and the floor was cold and uncomfortable. Now students are very excited to have somewhere comfortably to sit on. Also, our whiteboard is mainly utilized during our ELD groups because that way we can use the big whiteboard with one group and our donated whiteboard with the other group. The whiteboard is the perfect size to carry around the classroom. \r\n\r\nStudents were very excited about both the cushions and the whiteboard but they were the most excited about the cushions. They love the colors and love being able to sit on them. My students are very grateful for to have extra resources that otherwise we would not be able to have. Our bouncy chairs are used all day long to support students that need to move around while they pay attention to our lesson. They bounce and bounce while we do our math and reading lessons and anything else we do. \r\n\r\nStudents were extremely excited when they saw these chairs. They all wanted to get one and we had a nice talk about how some students have different needs and they were super understanding about it. \r\n\r\nIn the future, I would love to get more of these chairs because I can definitely see the benefit they give to the students that have a great need for movement throughout the day. It would be wonderful to give a lot more students to use this as a learning tool. We definitely have been using these chairs so much!
