At our middle school we have so many students who struggle with the challenges that come during this transitional stage of life. Your donations helped me to build a safe space for students to come process these struggles, learn new coping skills and then return to class better prepared to succeed. Being able to offer a snack to students was a way to immediately fill a need and help the student feel seen when their are so many things they can't control in their lives. The squishy affirmation cubes allowed me to send a physical, squish-able reminder with students that they can handle challenges and that they are not alone. Another example of the impact of your gifts was how the magnetic building cubes allowed student to have a visual representation of how we can build together.
