We are having so much fun creating and making art projects as we start our new school year. We have used some of these projects to decorate our classroom and display the students' creativity. Students are developing their fine motor skills for handwriting later in their education through cutting and ripping the thick construction paper. We have made apples, pumpkins, balloons, numbers, and more!\r\nWe will continue to use this paper throughout the school year to create more projects and experience more learning. Our next project is to use construction paper shapes to make a house as part of our families unit. I am grateful to have so many colors for children to choose from to represent their homes and their families. They could use the sand for hours on end if time permitted. Using kinetic sand accessories help my students create items like numbers, letters , shapes and so on.
