I was able to make the perfect library area for my students where I can display books and they can explore books on their own. The rotation shelf has been great for early chapter books and chapter books. It allows for my high students to know where to look for a book their level or for a challenging book. My low shelves are perfect for students to be able to explore all the books safely and to sit down and enjoy them. The glow lights have been tested and we are purchasing items to help make the glow day a big success such as glow paint and temporary tattoos. We have decided to use glow day as our spring transformation event. This will allow us more time to collect neon and glow items. \r\nWith the glow lights we we will hang them up in the classrooms and black out the windows. Students will rotate through first grade classrooms and complete different activities that are fun but still academically reviewing our standards. \r\nI am so excited to see their faces light up for our glow day!
