Prior to receiving all of the hands-on materials you donated, we had significant problem behavior interrupting reading instruction due to the repetitive and dull nature of our base curriculum. I was supplementing when and where I could, but these materials have made a world of difference. Students are now engaged in their learning AND I'm seeing growth in their classroom performance and academic testing. They love to use the witch fingers to point as they are reading. They sequence the alphabet on an alphabet arc with the alphabet beads. They explore digraphs and letter sounds with the letter sound object buckets. They spell the sounds that they hear in words with the magnet tiles, and they read words and match them to the correct picture. I could never have given them this level of hands-on, interactive, joyful learning without your donation. It would have taken me years of adding one material at a time. I appreciate the learning AND joy you have brought to my students and to my classroom. They now love coming to reading group, and that makes all the difference in their attention to instruction.","fullyFundedDate":1733273378781,"projectUrl":"project/unlocking-learning-hands-on-letter-adve/8843075/","projectTitle":"Unlocking Learning: Hands-On Letter Adventures!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jensen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9785343"},{"teacherId":9240049,"projectId":8843198,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding our project. By funding this project, students for years to come will have the opportunity to be exposed to technology and coding skills that would not occur in their public education classrooms.
