Many of the resources you provided have helped students—some with diagnoses and some without—stay engaged and successfully navigate their day.\r\n\r\nThe weighted dogs have been invaluable in helping students remain in their seats longer, allowing them to focus and complete their work. Some are now in classrooms, while others provide comfort to students in the wellness center during difficult moments.\r\n\r\nThe quiet reading corner, made possible by the canopy, has been a source of joy. Seeing the delighted expressions on students' faces the week it was put up was truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nThe bean bag chair has become a favorite spot where students can relax and reset.\r\n\r\nThe textured tiles were an instant hit, offering sensory input that students naturally gravitate toward.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has transformed our wellness center into a safe and calming refuge for our students. Not only did it increase student engagement, but students also learned to wait for their turn to play with the puppets and use language acquisition along with body movements to be a part of the lesson. For example, one of our lessons was learning the core word \"in\". All the students took a turn using the sentence starter \"_____ is IN the barn\" and took a turn in placing each of the farm animals into the barn. By learning through play, learning became more tangible, and we were able to reinforce the core word \"in\" through repetitions and reinforcement. \r\n\r\nI genuinely believe that having the right learning tools and resources can make an enormous difference in my student's learning.
