Your contributions have had a remarkable impact, enabling us to execute a critical and highly engaging learning experience for our students. Specifically, your funding made it possible for us to proceed with our annual rat dissection, a laboratory exercise that is typically the most expensive lab of the year. This hands-on opportunity gave students the opportunity to analyze anatomy in a way that books can not provide. \r\n\r\nThe level of student engagement and excitement during the dissection was exceptionally high, and many students reported it being their favorite lab so far. During this dissection, students analyzed the anatomy of a rat. Afterwards, students practiced comparative anatomy, where they compared the rat to the skeletons of seven different rodent species. Using their observations, they made predictions about how this species has changed over time. \r\n\r\nIn conclusion, your collective support has provided an invaluable educational asset to our classroom. By eliminating the financial constraints associated with this lab, you have ensured equitable access to advanced scientific instruction for every student. I am incredibly grateful for your investment in our students' education and for empowering us to deliver a memorable, meaningful, and scientifically rigorous lab experience. Tools like Play-Doh, chart markers, and leveled phonics readers help make abstract skills concrete. Students can manipulate letters and words with Play-Doh, track their thinking, and see their progress right before their eyes.\r\n\r\nReading in our small groups looks joyful, focused, and interactive. Simultaneously, there is either a special education teacher, a math intervention teacher, or a culturally linguistically diverse language teacher in the classroom as well who are also working with another small group. Having separate spaces for teaching these groups has allowed for notes, work and materials to remain untouched from day to day and also lets students have different work spaces where they can see and hear their instruction. Because of your thoughtful donations, my third-grade students now have the incredible opportunity to engage more deeply with folktales, myths, and literature in a way that is hands-on, meaningful, and exciting.\r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, we received 15 copies of Korean Children's Favorite Stories: Fables, Myths and Fairy Tales, 15 copies of The Tiger Rising, and 15 copies of How Tiger Got His Stripes: A Folktale from Vietnam. These books are already becoming cherished additions to our classroom library. They are not only opening doors to rich cultural stories and traditions but also helping students make connections between texts and the world around them. The tiger theme across all of these titles has helped us develop a cohesive unit that integrates reading comprehension, writing, cultural studies, and even social-emotional learning.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the books, the two wobble stools have already made a huge difference for several students in our classroom. These backless swivel stools allow students to move and adjust their seating while still staying focused on their learning. I've noticed increased concentration and a greater sense of calm among those who use them. For students who benefit from flexible seating options—especially those who have trouble sitting still for long periods—these stools are nothing short of a game-changer. One student even said, \"This is the first time I feel like I can read and move at the same time without getting in trouble!\"\r\n\r\nOur classroom is a space where students are encouraged to be curious, engaged, and enthusiastic about their learning. Thanks to you, we've been able to create a more inclusive and engaging environment. Your support means so much more than just providing materials—it sends a powerful message to students that their learning matters, that others believe in them, and that they are worth investing in.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of myself and every student who is now joyfully flipping through tiger tales and comfortably wiggling while writing, thank you.
