It is also a way to help students calm down and regulate themselves. The building toys and fidgets provide similar sensory and creative outlets for students . The children have all benefited greatly from your thoughtfulness. \r\nStudents who previously didn't communicate or interact very much, started to engage more in play and talk more in learning experiences. Students are excited to practice new skills while playing games. \r\n\r\nWe are using the hundreds chart, alphabet center, and tabletop phonics chart regularly during lessons to increase student learning through visuals. \r\n\r\nThe brain model has been instrumental in helping our students learn about the different parts of the brain and how they relate to making good choices.
