Even more meaningful, students continue to use the materials independently and have found hand sewing to be calming, restorative, and practical.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide supplies—it opened the door to new creative experiences and lasting skills. Students have been loving the flexible seating arrangements during our classes. Currently we have 14 options for students to choose from that are not their regular chairs and they are always all in use. Students have been thankful for the options as they have to sit in so many of their classes. \r\nStudents have also appreciate all of the supplies providing to them this year and may families in our distract are not able to purchase all school supplies. We are able to have community supplies that any student can use for all of our needs in class.\r\nThis support has helped me as well as I have always purchases supplies for my classroom and this year I was able to put that money towards providing snacks to my classes. This particularly benefitted my neurodivergent students. \r\nMiddle schoolers seem to have an endless appetite. Hunger can impact their ability to\r\nfocus.
