When I received my shipment, the excitement started bubbling up, and it was like Christmas opening the boxes! The toys and materials have been so well received and created many hours of happy play in my classroom. Here are a few highlights:\r\n The workbench was immediately a hit and a lesson on waiting your turn, because so many were wanting to play with it! The tot tube is a favorite of one of our boys, and what he loves to slide down it is plastic letters which besides being great fun for him is a great way to practice naming them. One little girl who is mostly nonverbal, likes the Hide and Peek barn so much that she has learned to say \"barn\" to request it. Another student finds it difficult to identify shapes and colors, but when I use our new busy book, her face lights up and she is much more willing to do the task. This is a tiny sampling of all the different ways these materials are being used to teach my students new skills and bring joy to them in the process. And the impact will continue.
