Thanks to your support, we were able to bring in much-needed resources that have completely transformed the way my students learn and engage each day.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement was contagious. I'll never forget the smiles and wide eyes as students explored the new tools. One student exclaimed, \"This makes learning so much more fun!\" From hands-on manipulatives that bring math concepts to life, to vibrant books that have sparked a love for reading, every resource has found a place in our daily lessons. For example, during a recent science unit, students used the new materials to design their own mini-experiments. Watching their confidence grow as they made predictions, tested their ideas, and shared results with classmates was truly inspiring.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue to play a key role in helping my students reach their goals. We are currently working on a project where students are creating their own storybooks using the new supplies. This project not only encourages creativity but also strengthens their writing and reading comprehension skills. It's heartwarming to see how much pride they take in their work and how eager they are to share it with others.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has not only provided tangible tools but also a sense of encouragement and support that my students can feel every day. Thank you for believing in them and helping us build a classroom where every child feels empowered to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1753045222243,"projectUrl":"project/equipping-young-minds-for-success/9473112/","projectTitle":"Equipping Young Minds for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Santiago","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6602560_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y304&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752742893728","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6602560"},{"teacherId":9478653,"projectId":8518681,"letterContent":"On behalf of my 5th-grade students and myself, I want to extend our deepest thanks for your generous donation to our classroom. As I lost my composure for a second or two on the phone call I was filled with so much relief, joy, and excitement. I am a second year GeneralEd 5th grade teacher at Desert View Academy in Yuma, AZ. I have worked alongside the most impactful and talented women in the field of education. This grant money was going to not only change my life as a teacher, but the academic lives of my students. \r\nBeing able to provide a full classroom library where the students would be able to choose a variation of books to read was my ultimate goal. Helping students find the love in reading was important to me. I was allowed to compile various series into my library from \"Diary of a Wimpy Kid\" to \"I Survived\". Along with a classroom library I was able to provide my students with preferential seating. I have always wanted to create a classroom that students would consider a safe space and a second home. Seeing them have an opportunity to have the preferential seating during our novel studies and just throughout the day was something I wanted to work hard to provide them with. \r\nReceiving this money was able to help fund a classroom full of kids that love to come to school to learn and have fun everyday. From simple things such as classroom incentives: candy, stickers, erasers, and more. To classroom supplies such as: dry erase markers, pencils, markers, colored pencils, eraser, and most importantly board games (indoor recess in Yuma, AZ due to consistent heat advisories). Headphones and other necessities for students that are not fortunate enough to to provide for themselves was also factored into my grant money. \r\n I will be eternally grateful to have been a recipient for this grant and have been given the opportunity to provide my students with a place they feel comfortable and safe in. This grant not only helped me provide my students with new supplies, but it allowed me to give my students the classroom they deserve. I was moved by such a gracious grant and couldn't have been more pleased to be a recipient of it. I will continue to be an educator that strives to reach the minds and hearts of every child that walks into my classroom. Thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime.","fullyFundedDate":1732231916703,"projectUrl":"project/ms-camachos-classroom-essentials/8957247/","projectTitle":"Ms. Camacho's Classroom Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Camacho","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9680808"},{"teacherId":8379733,"projectId":8955259,"letterContent":"I want to start off by saying thank you for your recent generous donation to my class' education at Desert View Academy.
