The gaming club at our school is now in full swing and some of my students are really excited about the figures that game and the adventures that await! Some have even said that they would want to do a session on priming and painting the figures, which would be awesome!\r\n\r\nThese items will allow us to finally have the table space and imagination space to create a world of the mind to take our D&D sessions to the next level. I'll be working with kiddos interested in creating their characters for a upcoming one-shot and see whether there are any potential interested GMs amongst them.\r\n\r\nThe snacks themselves have already been a hit as teenagers ALWAYS want snacks. Some students were surprised that snacks were available for them and that there were some \"legit\" snacks. Thanks to your kindness, we received a variety of incentive rewards that have already begun making a meaningful impact on scholar confidence and motivation.\r\nWe've been using these new resources as part of our \"Engagement through rewards: Boosting class participation and student confidence\"— a classroom-wide initiative that encourages students to set personal academic and behavioral goals each week. When students reach those goals, they get to choose a reward that reflects their effort and commitment. One standout moment was when a student who typically shies away from class discussions volunteered to lead a group activity. Afterward, she proudly selected a reward and said, \"I didn't think I could do it, but now I know I can!\" Moments like that are exactly what this project was meant to create.\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were absolutely thrilled. Many of them couldn't believe that these resources were meant just for them.
