My students were thrilled to find out that our entire project had been funded. Their faces lit up every time we received a new set of ball equipment and realize that we could now learn new and different sports. The new equipment meant that my students were no longer going to be limited to playing on playground equipment and only running during physical education time. This donation has changed the entire dynamic of P.E. time.\r\n\r\nAs soon as all of the different balls were inflated, the students enjoyed a free-play with all of the equipment. My soccer players enjoyed running all over the field with new soccer balls. The basketball players loved the different colored basketballs because they are easy to keep track of and just the right size. Although the volleyballs were new to many of the students, they didn't hesitate to put them to good use and begin volleying. The most popular balls are the rubber balls, of course. We have had great fun learning to play kickball correctly and show proper and positive sportsmanship. Every soccer, basketball and volleyball game will be a well-rounded learning experience, moving forward.\r\n\r\nOne major impact that this generous donation has had on my students is that now they really look forward to P.E. time. They are motivated to pay more attention in class and finish their classroom tasks so that they can enjoy some exercise. They don't even mind that sometimes we have a quick run before an organized game. The overall outlook toward exercise has increased, as has each student's role in the care for our new equipment. It's a great feeling to know that students have been impacted in different ways.","fullyFundedDate":1756942767846,"projectUrl":"project/the-big-bounce-project/9589580/","projectTitle":"The Big Bounce Project","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Martínez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6785588_orig.jpg?crop=1914,1914,x239,y347&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756598343497","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6785588"},{"teacherId":650955,"projectId":9528752,"letterContent":"These math manipulatives are so valuable to my students' learning! We are using them on some days in morning bins to help the transition into school. Some of my kids are struggling to master foundational skills like number sense and equal groups. Other students are ready to explore more complex strategies for multiplication and division. With these games and manipulatives all students can practice what they need.\r\n\r\n I bet my students would say that the best thing about these materials is they are fun!
