Because of your generosity, our space has been transformed into a safe, welcoming environment that truly meets the needs of our students.\r\n\r\nWith the addition of the large bean bag, reading nook chair, and sensory/comfort items, students now have a designated area where they can regulate their emotions, practice coping strategies, and prepare themselves to return to learning. Many of the students I serve struggle with emotional regulation and benefit from having a calm, supportive environment. These new resources provide them with choices, comfort, and the dignity of a space designed with their needs in mind.\r\n\r\nAlready, I have seen students using the items to take short breaks, practice calming strategies, and re-engage with their peers and academics more successfully. What once was a small storage space, is now a space for reflection, resilience, and growth.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only provided furniture and tools, it has given students the message that they are valued, cared for, and capable of success.
