This hands-on approach allows them to measure, draw, and annotate on paper, which makes abstract concepts feel more concrete and accessible.\r\n\r\nIt has also made collaboration much smoother. Students can print their designs, share them with teammates, and physically compare different approaches side by side. This has encouraged more discussion, peer feedback, and creativity in projects. For example, when designing houses or parks on a coordinate plane, having printed layouts helps them visualize scale and proportion more effectively.\r\n\r\nFinally, the printer has given students a sense of ownership over their work. They enjoy seeing their digital creations come to life on paper, and it motivates them to put more effort into accuracy and presentation. This project was created to help our PBIS program, which is a program that rewards students for positive behavior. We have an amazing collection of students here at Davenport High School. With a population of 2700 and growing, having the ability to reward positive behavior is something I find extremely valuable!\r\n\r\nOur PBIS program is a work in progress. We are currently trying to figure out how to administer the rewards, as we have a new administration. However, your donations will allow us to have a great start to our program.
