The students love exploring the light table and sorting through the buttons, letters, and numbers. It has been so great to see the students string beads, create bracelets, sort by color and number and shapes, and share with their peers. It has fostered relationships between students and classes. The table is promoting lower extremity strengthening and core stability while the students pick up objects off the floor or stay in tall kneel to complete tasks. \r\nThe smaller items have also been a great addition to the sensory table. The students love to measure, pour, and weigh the items to compare sizes and weights. They also love to find other items \"hiding\" in the beads.
