My students were thrilled to have additional books to listen to and a box were they can organize all the materials needed for this center! They quickly learned how to install the CD and be able to work independently. After listening to a story students will fill out a graphic organizer to answer comprehension questions. Due to the fact that all students are able to listen to the story they were all able to fill out their graphic organizer and feel successful. \r\n For example, one of my student was reading below grade level. She recognized a few sight words and mostly used pictures to \"decode\" words. However, after listening to Miss Nelson is Missing she began writing her sentences and demonstrated that she had excellent comprehension skills. She answered questions such as \"Who was the main character?\" and \"Where did the story take place?\" When she was done with her graphic organizer she said, \"Mrs. Aceves, I did it!\" She felt super proud of herself and I could see in her smile how this win made her feel a little more confident in her abilities! We celebrated her success and used this moment as a reminder that she can do hard things. \r\n Once again, thank you for your contribution. My students and future students will continue to use these resources to improve their literacy skills and feel accomplished.","fullyFundedDate":1731940496701,"projectUrl":"project/listen-linda-honey-you-can-make-a-di/8853145/","projectTitle":"Listen, Linda Honey...
