The students were and are so excited to have suupplies needed daily. They don't have to worry about running out of something, or if something is used up or broken. But thank you to all of you for stepping up and taking that burden off the parents and students . I can now be worry free about daily tasks knowing that we have what is needed and when new students register I do not have to give them a supply list with items that are no longer on sale. \r\n\r\nAll students will succeed and the supplies and headphones help with daily tasks for a smoother year. I use them to teach specific fiction and non fictions skills taught in second grade. They become tools for my lessons and without the specific books given I would struggle to find the necessary materials for the lesson or have to watch them on You Tube,being read by others. \r\nNow I am able to stop during the stories, dissect the passage to find the answers to the questions and clarify anything not understood.\r\nWe have whole group reading time where I use the books as tools and then other times where students read alone and can take any books from the library that they might want to reread or challenge themselves to read above their level. Reading is a life long skill and my room is full of books to make it a place of learning and create a love for learning.
