I wanted my students to understand the joy that comes when giving to others and especially others in need of some TLC. These tools will make a huge impact on my students. Allowing them to have a hands-on experience in science class. The magnifying glasses and microscopes were the biggest Ohhhs and Ahhhs. The students loved that each table had the materials to use in collaboration groups. They can't wait to use all the materials and gain more insight into our lessons. When we do our bug collection these tools will be a way to see more details in person instead of relying on someone else's pictures. Seeing their work gives them a sense of pride about themselves.
