Because of your contribution, I am able to create a clean, calming, and sensory-friendly classroom environment where my students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nMany of my students experience significant communication challenges and sensory regulation needs, which can make traditional classroom settings overwhelming. The resources provided through this grant allow me to better meet these needs in meaningful, practical ways. Snacks help ensure that students' basic needs are met, which has a direct impact on their ability to focus, regulate, and participate throughout the day. Sensory materials such as kinetic sand and theraputty give students structured opportunities to self-regulate, helping them stay engaged during learning activities and transitions.\r\n\r\nThe addition of art trays has supported organization and independence by giving students clear boundaries during hands-on activities. Flexible seating, including bean bag seating, has created more comfortable learning options that support sensory needs while still encouraging participation. Cleaning wipes have also played an important role in maintaining a healthy and hygienic learning space, especially when materials are shared, reinforcing routines around cleanliness and care.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these resources have helped foster a classroom environment rooted in dignity, inclusion, and access for all learners. Students are more comfortable, more engaged, and better able to participate in communication and learning activities. Your support has made a meaningful difference in the daily experiences of my students, and I am truly grateful for the positive impact this project has had on our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my students and supporting a learning environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1760721411144,"projectUrl":"project/fuel-focus-and-feelings/9749768/","projectTitle":"Fuel, Focus, and Feelings","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Flores","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp571700_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y147&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1704754675465","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/571700"},{"teacherId":1997458,"projectId":9876337,"letterContent":"I have so many students that feel that they are acquiring a super power in learning how to write in cursive.
