So we fluffed and got the center ready for use.\r\n\r\nThe center consists of the \"Buddies\", the small stuffed animals to read with and the leveled readers for these beginning readers to use. They are able to choose their book and \"Buddy\" and find a comfortable place to read. They love coming up and moving the pieces. We even used this mat for the 100th day of school. I numbered 100 Kisses and hid them around the room. On behalf of the entire garden club, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of garden supplies. Your support has truly transformed our gardening experience and has been a source of immense joy and learning for our students.\r\n\r\nThe new resources have been instrumental in enhancing our gardening projects. We recently embarked on a project to create a butterfly garden. The students used the new tools to prepare the soil, plant a variety of nectar-rich flowers, and set up a small water feature. This project has not only taught them about the importance of pollinators but also about teamwork and responsibility.\r\n\r\n\r\nOne memorable moment was when we planted our first batch of seeds. The students were thrilled to use the new trowels and gloves. As they carefully planted each seed, there was a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation. Watching their faces light up when the first seedlings sprouted was truly priceless. It was a moment of pure wonder and a great learning experience about the life cycle of plants.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new garden supplies, their reactions were priceless. There were gasps of surprise and joy, and they couldn't wait to get their hands dirty. The colorful tools and the variety of seeds sparked their curiosity and enthusiasm. It was heartwarming to see them so eager to start gardening.\r\n\r\nOur next steps involve expanding the butterfly garden and incorporating more educational elements. We plan to create informational signs about the different plants and their roles in the ecosystem. Additionally, we are starting a composting project to teach the students about sustainable gardening practices. These projects will continue to build on their knowledge and appreciation for nature.\r\n\r\nYour donation has made a significant impact on our garden club, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. We look forward to sharing more updates with you as our projects progress.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and for helping us cultivate a love for gardening in our students.","fullyFundedDate":1731503864343,"projectUrl":"project/great-school-garden/8926399/","projectTitle":"Great School Garden","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Laguna","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1134137_orig.jpg?crop=244,244,x0,y38&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731006831998","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-aguiar"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_45280","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":749,"numTeachers":49,"percentFrplEligible":36,"percentAsian":8,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":38,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":45,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":62.9,"schoolId":45280,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Cooper City Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Cooper City Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/broward-county-public-schools/cooper-city-elementary-school/45280"}
