This little project has done wonders for our students already.\r\n\r\n Our students will, often times, come to my looking for a snack in the afternoon. The stresses of the day and the fact that their metabolisms are at full speed in their teenage years means they are ALWAYS HUNGRY! The fruit snacks were a real hit, and gone before I knew it! Bonus, I feel like they are a more healthy alternative to chips or other snacks, so thank you!\r\n\r\nPencils are always a must. If I wasn't watching so closely, I'd think they were eating those, too. On a more serious note, it has been a relief to be able to have the necessary supplies, when needed; one less battle. Bonus, these pencils came pre-sharpened. \r\n\r\nI must admit that while these laminating pouches are for the students, they were more for me. I like to laminate resources for our students so that they can be preserved and/or reused. You can use lamination on just about any project and it extends it's life. More recently, I made bookmarks that had annotative note taking symbols in English and Spanish. \r\n\r\nThank you, again, for everything! Technology plays a big role in our daily lives, and here in our classroom, we rely on it pretty heavily. From checking grades, to completing assignments and taking tests, there's not a day that goes by that we are not using our Chromebooks. \r\n\r\nIn our school, we have limited resources for charging and extra devices. This new charging station makes it possible for scholars to be prepared and ready to go when class starts. They can also charge up before they go home to ensure that continued learning happens once they leave our doors. We have really enjoyed knowing that there is a designated place for them to get this task done, rather than search around for a charger or another device that is charged. It's honestly been a lifesaver!\r\n\r\nThe headphones we received have also been a huge blessing. As we roll into testing season, there are many exams that are online. Some of the exams allow for certain parts to be read aloud to the students, while others have a required speaking and listening portion. The new headphones let the students test with confidence. The quality is superior, and they are able to hear well and their voice can be recorded clearly. The days of hunting around and pleading with another teacher to borrow are over. I can't tell you the stress that this relieves for myself and the scholars. \r\n\r\nI can't thank you enough for your kindness.
