My students are always looking for a fidget to use as we meet to discuss their challenges. The most popular item I have been able to add has definitely been the Legos! My students have been able to show their creativity while building and talking about their struggles. \r\n\r\nWhen my students realized I had acquired new items, they were so excited and eager to explore! Several students wanted to take them to their classes, but that isn't an option due to them typically not being returned. Everyone needs to be able to benefit from these items, so they can be used when we are meeting. My students understand and enjoy them as we meet! I have a number of students that are sharing items to fidget with during independent work and group discussions. \r\n\r\nThe students like being able to have some extra movement so the seating options are being utilized in a good way. The ability to move or release energy helps them to make progress in their classes. \r\n\r\nWith fidgets they can hold on to or touch students are able to release some energy without distracting others around them.
