It has made a world of difference being able to print on the spot! I'm able to get what I need in a quick pinch, without having to worry about traveling across the school for a single copy (or finding out the main printer is down). \r\n\r\nThis addition has already made a huge difference in how I'm able to engage my students. Having immediate access to color printing means I can create interactive and visually engaging materials right in our classroom. Recently, we used the printer to prepare for a gallery walk activity, where students rotated around the hall analyzing printed visuals, texts, and prompts. Being able to print high-quality materials for each station made the experience much more immersive and hands-on. Students loved being able to move, discuss, and interact with each display, and it helped deepen their understanding of the lesson content.\r\n\r\nYour support has made it possible for me to bring more creativity and collaboration into our daily learning environment. Many of my students face food insecurity at home, so having access to these snacks not only supports their learning but also ensures they're better nourished during the school day. In addition to the snacks, the classroom supplies you provided have been incredibly helpful in keeping our learning environment organized and efficient. From pencils and notebooks to other essentials, these materials allow students to fully engage in their work without the stress of not having what they need.\r\n\r\nThe stickers have also been a big hit! I've been using them as rewards for students who do well on their grammar quizzes, and the excitement they show over earning one is truly heartwarming. It's a small gesture that goes a long way in building motivation and pride in their accomplishments. The fidgets and grounding strips have been another great addition. They offer students a quiet, non-disruptive way to manage their energy and focus during lessons. The textbook provides engaging, up-to-date (and relevant) examples, built-in assessments, and essential vocabulary lists that help students master challenging concepts like migration patterns, cultural diffusion, and urban development. Even though we were only able to purchase 14 of the 30 books needed, it worked out perfect that I had 14 students in the course this year.\r\n\r\nWhen I was given the opportunity to use the remaining funds for alternative supplies, I decided to invest in something that also connects our students to hands-on learning beyond the classroom: a class set of fly tying kits. As the advisor of our Fly Fishing Club and Outdoor Education Program, I've seen firsthand how time spent outdoors aids in fostering patience, curiosity, and teamwork. With these kits, students can now learn to tie their own flies — and then head out to local rivers and lakes to test their craftsmanship in action. It's a unique and rewarding way to blend outdoor education, science, and personal growth.\r\n\r\nYour donation has had a ripple effect here at Coal Ridge. You've helped build stronger readers, thinkers, and problem-solvers — and given students opportunities to connect their learning to the world around them. The best part is that your impact will expand beyond just this class and helps me put a sustainable system in a building that I love. Similarly, having protractors in the classroom means students are ready to work immediately, without needing to bring their own for the short time we use them in class.\r\n\r\nStudents are especially excited about being able to take calculators home. They enjoy exploring features like graphing and data analysis, which makes learning more engaging and helps build confidence.
