Each year this account of the Holocaust fully keeps the students immersed. They will read independently, with partners. or sometimes small groups to facilitate discussions and deeper thinking. I will be reading to them and at other times we will follow along with audio renditions. \r\n\r\nThis gift is helping students become better readers and instilling a lifelong love of reading. It is bringing history to life at a crucial time in our world.
