One student in particular comes to school with an empty tummy everyday, but with these snacks I have been able to give her a poptart for breakfast as well as be able to send her home with snacks for her long bus ride home. I also had the opportunity to share this experience with my entire class so that they knew who was supplying our snack closet. Their eyes were filled with appreciation and they were adamant about expressing our sincerest gratitude to those who donated.
