Because space is always at a premium in a kitchen setting, the ability to easily move and store stools has been a game changer. Unlike traditional chairs, the stools take up minimal room and can be neatly tucked away when not in use, allowing students to move freely and safely between workstations. This flexibility has helped us maintain a clean, open space where students can focus on cooking without the clutter or tripping hazards that larger seating can create.\r\n\r\nIn addition to enhancing safety and space management, the stools have supported student comfort and engagement. Students regularly use them during demonstrations, discussions, or while waiting for food to cook, and the convenience of having a place to sit helps maintain a calm, focused atmosphere. The stools strike the perfect balance between comfort and practicality—they serve their purpose during lessons but never get in the way of hands-on culinary work. Overall, the addition of stools has improved the flow, safety, and efficiency of our classroom, and we are truly thankful to have them as part of our setup.","fullyFundedDate":1758221752609,"projectUrl":"project/stools-for-learning/9661157/","projectTitle":"Stools for Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wallace","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3873949_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1473548920476","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3873949"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_35650","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":892,"numTeachers":47,"percentFrplEligible":70,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":47,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":46,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"19.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":83.3,"schoolId":35650,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Columbia Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Columbia Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/moses-lake-school-district-161/chief-moses-middle-school/35650"}
