The light from the LED sticker lit up the paper and created a beautiful display or art and science in one! \r\n\r\nThank you for providing my classroom with such an engaging learning experience! Students were able to create their own moving robot creatures with this Hummingbird Robotics Kit! They took all of their learning from previous lessons (how to use the kit, plug in wires and motors, code everything to work etc.) to create this project! After working together to plan their design students created a creature out of cardboard. They then modified their creature to have a spot that they could insert the light bulb to have the creature display a flashing light and they used a rotation servo motor to make their creature move! They were so proud fo their creatures and said that this was the coolest project they have done all year! As a teacher that was great to hear, and I thank you for making it possible. There was things that didn't work quite right (ex: a student mixed up the positive and negative wires and put them in the wrong ports etc) but students were able to work together to figure out how to solve the problem. Over a dedicated two-month rehearsal period, the children moved beyond simple memorization to master the nuances of character development and stage presence, working tirelessly to ensure every cue was met with confidence. When the long-awaited performance finally arrived, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation as families gathered to witness the results of this creative journey.
