I'm excited to share how this technology, made possible by our generous donors, has not only made our work easier but has also inspired enthusiasm for learning and creativity among my students.\r\nIt has enhancing learning with updated technology. Most people likely use at-home printers for simple tasks, but in a classroom, this device becomes a real hub of activity. The EcoTank Pro ET-5800 allows us to print high-quality materials on demand—everything from worksheets and reading booklets to posters and art projects. Before the EcoTank, I had to carefully ration printer usage due to expensive cartridges and slow print speeds. Now, we can print freely without worrying about ink running out or ballooning costs. This flexibility means every student—no matter their learning style—can get personalized materials quickly, amplifying how well they engage with new concepts.\r\n It has also sparked excitement and motivation.The printer's speed and color capabilities have been especially thrilling for the students. They love seeing their work come out crisp and colorful, whether it's a science report full of charts or an art project in bold hues. Knowing that their assignments and creative pieces will truly \"come to life\" on the page brings an excitement that spills over into the effort they put into their work. Several students even ask to help with printing tasks—a clear sign that the technology has become a tangible (and exciting) part of their school day.\r\n It is especially effective for students who thrive with hands-on tech. I've noticed that students who sometimes struggle to focus or who aren't always the first to raise their hand have really connected with the EcoTank Pro. One student in particular, who loves art but lacked confidence in sharing her work, now creates vibrant posters and calendars for the class. She beams every time her creations print, and the whole class gets to enjoy the results. Another student, interested in science, used the printer to create a \"science facts\" booklet for her classmates. With easy access to printing, these students have found new ways to showcase their strengths and contribute to our classroom community.\r\nIn a nutshell, thanks to this project, my students don't just use technology—they interact with it, take ownership of it, and see their ideas become real. The Epson EcoTank Pro ET-5800 hasn't just made lesson prep easier for me; it's fostered confidence, excitement, and belonging for my students. For all of this, we are endlessly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1741724935484,"projectUrl":"project/color-my-classroom/9004744/","projectTitle":"Color My Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Caufield","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6753415_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1677780710609","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6753415"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_39150","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":152,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":98,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"8.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":72.2,"schoolId":39150,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Cherry River Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Cherry River Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/west-virginia/nicholas-county-school-district/cherry-river-elementary-school/39150"}
