One memorable moment was during a recent lesson when students used the materials to work collaboratively on a hands-on project focused on Algebra in the real-world. Students were more focused, eager to participate, and excited to take ownership of their work. The vertical whiteboards allowed them to explore concepts in a more interactive and meaningful way than before.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, their reactions said it all—smiles, excited conversations, and lots of \"Can we use these today?\" Several students immediately wanted to explore how everything worked, and others shared how the new tools made learning feel more \"real\" and fun. For many of them, having access to the vertical whiteboards daily, made them feel proud and motivated, knowing that people outside our classroom believe in their success.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building on this momentum as we move into Systems of Equations. They will use the vertical whiteboards to deepen their understanding through engaging thinking tasks, practice new skills, and work toward preparing for their Regents Exam in June. Because of your generosity, students now have the tools they need not just for one lesson, but for continued growth, confidence, and curiosity throughout the school year.
