They no longer have to wait their turn or worry about whether equipment will be available. Instead, they can immediately listen to a passage being read aloud, participate in interactive lessons, or focus on Coding projects. The simple fact that the earbuds are \"theirs\" has brought a sense of ownership and pride.\r\n\r\nThose students who struggle with reading have especially warmed to this new resource. For many of my English Language Development (ELD) students, this experience has been especially valuable. Hearing fluent reading modeled while following along with the text has helped them better understand pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation in English.\r\n\r\nThe All About letter chart has become an essential part of our daily routine. Each day, we review the letter of the week using the chart. My students look forward to reciting the poem, identifying the letter sound, and discussing the images and words that begin with that letter.
