Many of my students rely on technology to access personalized lessons, interactive programs, and read-aloud support. Before, sharing limited headphones often caused delays and distractions, but now each child has their own set of earbuds, which means they can fully engage with their work without interruption.\r\n\r\nWhat excites the class most is the sense of independence these earbuds give them. They no longer have to wait their turn or worry about whether equipment will be available. Instead, they can immediately listen to a passage being read aloud, participate in interactive lessons, or focus on Coding projects. The simple fact that the earbuds are \"theirs\" has brought a sense of ownership and pride.\r\n\r\nThose students who struggle with reading have especially warmed to this new resource. With the earbuds, they can access audiobooks and text-to-speech features discreetly, allowing them to keep pace with their classmates. It has boosted their confidence and made them more eager to participate in class activities. Others who are easily distracted now work with far more focus because the earbuds block out surrounding noise and keep them tuned in to their lessons. The earbuds are not just tools—they are helping students become more independent, engaged, and confident learners, while also strengthening our work as a Technology Magnet school.","fullyFundedDate":1753655313487,"projectUrl":"project/earbuds-for-learning/9497939/","projectTitle":"Earbuds for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Avanessian","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2942532_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1464974512653","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-avanessian"},{"teacherId":8323184,"projectId":9259369,"letterContent":"Thanks to your support, our classroom is now more organized, efficient, and student-friendly. These resources have had a significant impact on the learning and literacy development of my kindergarten students.\r\n\r\nThe listening center, equipped with the books on CD, has quickly become a favorite station in our classroom. It allows my students to engage with books independently, helping them develop listening comprehension, fluency, and a love for reading. For many of my English Language Development (ELD) students, this experience has been especially valuable. Hearing fluent reading modeled while following along with the text has helped them better understand pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation in English.\r\n\r\nThe All About letter chart has become an essential part of our daily routine. Each day, we review the letter of the week using the chart. My students look forward to reciting the poem, identifying the letter sound, and discussing the images and words that begin with that letter. For my ELD students, the visual cues, repetitive structure, and daily practice have greatly supported their ability to connect sounds with letters and build vocabulary.\r\n\r\nTogether, these resources have played a crucial role in my students' early reading success. I've seen noticeable growth in their ability to recognize letters and sounds, blend words, and engage with text more confidently.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support. Your contribution is making a lasting difference in the lives of young learners and helping to build a strong foundation for their future academic success.","fullyFundedDate":1737561340065,"projectUrl":"project/listen-learn-love-building-a-kinderg/8996809/","projectTitle":"\"Listen, Learn, Love: Building a Kindergarten Listening Center\"","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ramirez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2503509_orig.jpg?crop=842,842,x205,y151&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761016092455","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2503509"},{"teacherId":8323184,"projectId":9108933,"letterContent":"Thank you for the generous support.
